When it comes to giving gifts, they say it’s the thought that counts — and I happen to agree.

That’s why I like to give personalized gifts to friends and family: monogrammed towels, engraved jewelry or frames, or even little pieces of art with special meaning between me and the recipient.

There’s also something very special about giving gifts that are handmade. However, if you’re like me, you may not be the craftiest person in the world. That’s why I love the craft Paige demonstrates in the video below. I had no idea it was actually so easy to handmake my own customized glasses.

In the video, Paige makes a personalized olive oil bottle for her friend, Cassie, but this technique can be used on any variety of surfaces with any type of stencil.

All you need is to buy yourself some Armour Etch. It’s very affordable and makes great crafts.

You can use this technique to make Father’s Day pint glasses, or use it on a casserole dish for a great bridal shower or newlywed present.

In our attempts at this craft, we’ve found that it works a little better using a flat surface, but the armor etch should work on any glass surface.

Let us know other ways you’d use this technique in the comments below and don’t forget to SHARE with friends!
