When it comes to snacking, I like to keep things simple.
I have a tendency to graze all day when I’m working, so lately I’ve been trying to get ahead of the game by packing myself a couple of pieces of fruit and a hard-boiled egg for the work day.
As a dietary plan, it’s working pretty well! After all, eggs in moderation are just packed with nutrients, and with a hard-boiled egg, you can always scoop out the yolk if cholesterol is a concern.
Plus, eggs are downright delicious, one of the many reasons that they play a key role in this hearty breakfast burrito.
Unfortunately, they do have one major drawback as a food: the inevitable mess that comes with peeling them. Whatever your preferred method, tons of tiny fragments of eggshell are almost unavoidable.

All you need in your arsenal is an ordinary mason jar — a clean salsa or jam jar will also do — and tap water to revolutionize the way you crack an egg.
