Patriotic Artist Leaves The Audience Screaming When He Paints While Singing The National Anthem

by Paul Morris
Paul is a proud Southerner who enjoys long walks in the woods, sweet tea, and watching movies. He’s also an expert pastry chef and will share his rhubarb-berry pie recipe with just about anyone who asks. He loves America and playing with animals of all kinds. When he isn't writing about the things he loves most, you can find him in the great outdoors!

Before every sporting event, it’s become a hallowed tradition to stand up for the national anthem. But artist Joe Everson recently made quite a name for himself not just because of his singing talent, but also thanks to his amazing painting skills!

Joe loves America so much that he’s worked very hard over the years to perfect the impossibly difficult task of singing while painting. Singing the national anthem in front of thousands (or even millions) of people is one of the most difficult things any singer could ever do. But to have the confidence to sing this difficult song while painting a beautiful picture is truly out of this world!

Joe takes things a step further when he paints this incredible painting upside down! The whole audience has no idea what he’s making, and at first it seems like a big ugly blob. But by the time he finishes the whole song, he spins the big canvas around and it turns out to be one of the most famous American photos of all time.

The famous scene from Iwo Jima will always be remembered as one of the most incredible moments of the Pacific campaign during WWII, so it’s great to see an artist not only show his respect for his country, but manage to do it while singing the most beautiful song in the world!
