The best kind of pranks are the ones that make everyone involved smile, even the one who was tricked!

It’s not just kids who can pull off pranks, professional orchestras can pull them off effortlessly as well! Take the Florida Orchestra for example, they knew how to pull a great prank on their conductor, Michael Francis in October 2015.

The group of talented musicians was practicing one day when Michael asked them to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.” But what Michael didn’t know was that the members of the orchestra had a silly trick up their sleeves.

Since Michael is British, the group decided to pay tribute to his home country and perform England’s national anthem, “God Save the Queen,” instead of the USA’s national anthem.

It took Michael all but four seconds after a drumroll to realize his orchestra wasn’t playing the correct song. A huge smile swept across his face when he heard the familiar tune. He then put his hand to his heart and sang along. Michael gave two big thumbs up to his group in appreciation of their prank.
