Oprah Winfrey Lets Fans See How She Spends Her Downtime On ‘Saturdays With Oprah’

Oprah Winfrey is quite the busy woman. It isn’t easy being one of the most iconic figures in media and running an empire, but she does just that day after day.

It’s hard to imagine her having much downtime, but she’s decided to let fans see how she spends her time when she’s not working. The result is Saturdays With Oprah, a new series for OprahMag.com.

Oprah has a few locales to choose from when she’s kicking back. She’s the proud owner of several estates. She spends most of her time at her 23,000-square-foot mansion in Montecito, California. She also has real estate on Orcas Island and in the Santa Ynez Mountains, Maui, and Telluride, Colorado.

Entertainment Tonight‘s Nancy O’Dell got to stop by Oprah’s Montecito home to see how she unwinds.

“I never let cameras into my home,” Oprah laughed. “I don’t even let my own cameras into my home.”

Saturdays With Oprah changes all that. She’s seen picking flowers at her illustrious Maui estate. She even took a joyride on the ATV Ralph Lauren gifted her. She’s also seen having a lovely meal with BFF Gayle King, gushing about how her new chef is “the one.”

Oprah’s lifestyle seems truly one of a kind, but there’s no questioning she’s earned it. The media mogul has reportedly built a net worth of $2.6 billion over the 40-plus years of her career. If you’ve followed her career at all, you know slowing down isn’t an option for her. Still, it’s nice to see she can swing it on the occasional Saturday.
