Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Olivia Jade Returns To YouTube With First Video Since Parents’ Arrest

by June Rivers
When she's not blogging for the 'net, June loves cuddling with her cats and reading in her library at home.

Lori Loughlin continues to reject the charges that have been brought against her in the college admissions scandal.

Prosecutors allege that she and her husband paid $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters, 20-year-old Olivia and 21-year-old Bella, admitted as crew team recruits at the University of Southern California.

Lori and husband Mossimo Giannulli’s legal team officially entered not guilty pleas for the most recent charges against them. The couple was additionally charged with conspiracy to commit federal program bribery.

Olivia and Bella have stopped attending USC in the wake of “Operation Varsity Blues.” But much to the surprise of her 1.93 million subscribers, Olivia has made her return to YouTube after taking a hiatus.

Olivia came under fire during the controversy for some of her content, particularly one video from 2018 in which she admitted: “I don’t know how much of school I’m gonna attend … I do want the experience of like game days, partying … I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.”

In her first YouTube post since her parents’ arrest — a two-minute clip entitled “hi again” — Olivia explains her doubts and insecurities in returning to the platform.

Meanwhile, if her parents continue to fight the charges against them, a trial is expected to take place sometime in 2020.
