World’s ‘Oldest Little Person’ Is Trapped In House Until Strangers Start Gathering On Her Lawn

After graduating from Florida State University with a creative writing degree, she moved straight to New York City to pursue a career in the arts. She loves discovering and sharing viral videos, watching movies with her Muppet-like poodle mix named Cali, and doing the robot whenever possible.

At 94 years old, Winifred Ann Kelly, aka Winnie, holds the Guinness World Records title of the oldest person in the world living with dwarfism.

Winnie, who stands at 3’8″, has always been a confident and capable person, but age has presented her with serious mobility issues.

When she was no longer able to leave her house in Strongsville, Ohio, on her own accord, Winnie was stripped of her sense of independence.

She desperately needed a functioning wheelchair-accessible walkway in front of her home.

A ramp was installed, but it didn’t help. Every time Winnie tried to use it, she’d fall face-first.

One time, her injuries were so severe she ended up hospitalized.

Then a friend of Winnie’s caregiver heard about her situation, and word spread to the local staff at Home Depot.

Their incredible act of kindness, which you’ll see in the video below, has restored not only Winnie’s sense of freedom but also her faith in humanity.
