The Brilliant Way To Fix Drafty Doors Using A Pair Of Old Tights

With winter here, it is once again time to safeguard my home against drafts, chills, and freezing outside temperatures.

Fortunately, there are a seemingly endless number of winter home hacks, like using an electric blanket to pre-warm your clothes.

And when it comes to cutting down on drafts within my house, this simple and smart DIY project truly does take the cake.

With this brilliant winter hack, it is so easy to put a stop to bone-chilling door drafts.

Supplies:

  • Pair of tights
  • Two wrapping paper tubes
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Cut one leg off of the pair of tights.
  2. Cover both wrapping paper tubes with the legging.
  3. Cut excess off of the wrapping paper tubes.
  4. Tuck the ends of the legging into the tubes.
  5. Slide under the door so there is a tube on each side.
