With summer coming up around the corner, you might be looking for some yummy treats for your family that don’t require heating up your kitchen with the oven.

The no-bake “unicorn cake” Rachael Ray and her culinary producer Jeanette Donnarumma whip up in the clip below will totally hit the spot without making you break a sweat!

It’s such a colorful, fun way to satisfy your sweet tooth, too, making it perfect for a kid’s birthday party. That is, if the parents don’t get to it first.

Aside from the ingredients, there’s one important thing you’ll need before deciding to create this super-cute cake: Patience. Lots and lots of it, as you have to wait about 45 to 60 minutes in between freezing each layer.

This unicorn cake also technically features more than one ice cream cone horn with a total of six lining the edges of the circle, but that just means each slice becomes its own special mythical confection!

Jeanette trims the cones so that they stick out just a couple inches from the icing — and I love her idea of saving the extra pieces to crush up as toppings for ice cream sundaes later.
