Congratulations are in order for Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, who tied the knot this weekend in a stunning ceremony.
The happy couple started talking in 2016, but they didn’t start dating until a week before the Met Gala in 2017. Their relationship got serious very quickly, and within a few months they’d both met each other’s families.
On July 19, 2018, the 26-year-old singer shut down Tiffany’s to propose to his 36-year-old sweetheart. During the same week, the pair had a double date with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (who is one of Priyanka’s good friends).
In August, Nick and Priyanka traveled to India to celebrate their engagement with a roka ceremony. Nick’s father, a pastor, led a prayer, and a Hindi priest gave blessings.
This past weekend, November 30 to December 2, Nick and Priyanka’s wedding took place in Jodhpur, India. They had both a traditional Indian wedding and a Christian ceremony, led by Nick’s father. Overall, it was a gorgeous multicultural affair.
After the wedding, Priyanka took to Instagram to share her thoughts:
“One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.”
Nick shared the same message on his own Instagram. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
