It’s hard to say exactly what misfortunes befall the homeless dogs who are brought in by good Samaritans to Vet Ranch to be treated, to be rehabilitated, and to be cared for until they can be paired with loving homes.
Sometimes they’ve been abandoned by families who for whatever reason cannot afford to keep them — dogs like Evan, a homeless pup so dirty from neglect and homelessness that his fur appeared to be an entirely different color. Or Tater, a dog so plagued by fleas, lethargy, and virus that he’d likely have been put down if not for the Vet Ranch team.
Both dogs were saved by way of the services offered by the extraordinary team at Vet Ranch, and so was the one below.
A malnourished pup was brought in after roaming the streets with a deep, open wound on his neck. He was shy at first, uncertain about what to make of Dr. Matt and his team after being abandoned, but this sweetheart came around to his new and kind caretakers. Naming him Murphy, Dr. Matt also shares some heartwarming news toward the end of the video, but for that I’ll let you watch it yourself!
