On LittleThings’ Facebook Live show Slice, we solve kitchen conundrums for viewers far and wide. Recently, we helped out a young caller who was looking for the perfect recipe to surprise his dessert-loving mom.

For this task, we invited none other than Mr. Cory, the CEO of Mr. Cory’s Cookies.

Mr. Cory isn’t just any CEO. He first started the gourmet cookie company when he was only 6 years old, to raise money to buy his mom a car — which makes him just the right person to answer this reader’s question!

Now 13 years old, Mr. Cory — born Cory Nieves — runs his business alongside his mom out of Englewood, New Jersey. In 2017, the duo even appeared on CNBC’s The Profit to ask host Marcus Lemonis for help taking the company to the next level.

Now they sell their cookies online, and business is booming.

On this episode, Mr. Cory debuts his new snickerdoodle s’mores cookies, a delectable treat combining two classic sweets.

“Moms love s’mores. They need something to get their stress off,” Mr. Cory explains. The recipe uses ingredients that you probably have around the house, and it’s easy to make.

After a quick bake in the oven, Mr. Cory’s first batch of cookies is ready. Then he adds chocolate and marshmallow to transform them into delightful s’mores that go above and beyond the typical graham cracker sandwich.

Check out how to make Mr. Cory’s decadent creation in the video below, and be sure to SHARE it on Facebook!
