A mom has had enough: She’s taking action against three bullies who have been taunting her daughter on the school bus.
Aimee Johnson took to Facebook to fight bullying by showing the effects it has had on her daughter. She posted three heartbreaking photos of the 9-year-old girl in tears.
The mom recounted the terrible events that led to the post. According to her, this isn’t the first time her girl has been a victim.
Aimee wrote, “This is the 3rd time physical violence has happened to her in 4 months. [..] This time her water bottle was taken from her and they hit her upside the head with it! Called her ‘ugly’ and ‘dumb.'”
Aimee tells WDAF that she has begun to teach her daughter lessons of self-worth because, as she writes, “this right here is the reason we see so many young girls committing suicide.”
The mom has made several attempts to resolve the issue with the school and the bus department — but with no results. Now, the police are involved.
Aimee’s daughter has received a ton of support through social media. Her parents say that the post was just meant to update friends and family, but it has gone viral, and people are spreading their important message about bullying.
Some sweet comments read, “Your daughter is beautiful,” “You’re doing the right thing. She’s a beautiful girl! I hope she knows that,” and, “This child is beautiful, teach her to never accept what others say or do.”
Please SHARE this important story to encourage friends and family to offer their support to this beautiful young lady and her family!
