Nyle DiMarco, a former winner of America’s Next Top Model, showed off another one of his talents when he appeared on season 22 of Dancing with the Stars.

DiMarco couldn’t hear the music because he is deaf, but still managed to wow all the judges with his incredible dance moves.

He performed the Cha Cha alongside partner Peta Murgatroyd to “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE. And it certainly appeared effortless for the 26-year-old, who tied another dancing duo, Wanya Morris and Ginger Zee, for first place that night with a 23/30.

Through an interpreter, DiMarco confirmed that he also doesn’t hear any vibrations and simply follows his dance partner with his eyes.

How incredible is that?!

“Growing up I didn’t dance at all, and I wasn’t sure if I could. I didn’t want to make a fool of myself as a deaf person,” he told US Weekly. “If I made a fool out of myself, I think the world would have that negative perception that a deaf person can’t dance, and it’s important for me to do so well so that I can preach to the world that deaf people can do anything.”
