Bacon is so delicious that when we want it, we want it in our mouths as quickly as possible.

The traditional method of cooking bacon in a skillet requires little time, about five minutes. Yet, if you have a craving for the succulent strips of pure heaven, five minutes is five minutes too long. You want to eat it now. Right now! Preferably wrapped around something delicious like beef, or puff pastry, or even more bacon!

You can zap bacon in the microwave for a about a minute and get the job done in a speedier fashion than on a traditional skillet. Only problem with this technique is that it’s messy, greasy, and not nearly as delicious.
