Prince Michael “Blanket” Jackson II — the youngest of Michael Jackson’s three children — was born on February 21, 2002.

Later that year, Michael infamously dangled the infant off a hotel balcony in Berlin, four stories high, with a cloth covering Blanket’s face. Reporters and fans stood below in shock and awe over the bizarre sight.

The King of Pop was widely criticized and ended up apologizing for the stunt, calling it a “terrible mistake.”

Blanket grew up alongside his siblings, Paris and Michael Jr., but he’s been rarely spotted out in public or in photos ever since his father’s funeral in 2009.

These days, he is 16 years old and reportedly goes by the name Bigi. Radar Online reported that Blanket changed his name before starting a new private school in California because he was bullied relentlessly over the name “Blanket.” “He always thought that the name Blanket sounded so stupid and resented his father for calling him that,” a source told the publication.

“Growing up, his school mates have always been slightly mean to him because of their jealousy over who he is and going by Blanket made him a much easier target for ridicule.”

In the video below, see how all three of Michael Jackson’s kids have grown and transformed over the years.
