Meghan Markle has been on maternity leave since welcoming her baby boy, Archie, on May 6, 2019. Other than an appearance at Trooping the Colour, Meghan has largely stayed out of the public eye.

She’s truly enjoying her time with her son, and she’s spending most of her time near home.

Her husband, Prince Harry, has still been making many public appearances.

Soon, though, Meghan will take a break from her maternity leave to go watch her best friend, Serena Williams, play tennis at Wimbledon. Baby Archie will stay at home while Meghan cheers on her friend.

Serena will be playing on Tuesday, July 2. Luckily, Wimbledon isn’t too far from Frogmore Cottage, where Meghan and Harry live with Archie — it should take Meghan only an hour or so to get to the tennis match.

Last year, Meghan attended Wimbledon with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. The two duchesses enjoyed their time together, cheering on Serena Williams as she played. This year, Meghan will attend on her own, but she’ll definitely still have an incredible time.

In the coming months, we’ll be seeing more and more of the Duchess of Sussex (and hopefully more of baby Archie). The whole family will make an appearance for Archie’s christening, which will probably happen later this summer, and they’ll all go to Africa together for a royal tour in the fall.
