Is the Duchess of Sussex being treated unfairly by the British press? Many believe the answer to this question is yes.

Recently, the British press has turned on the American-born royal, publishing all sorts of negative stories about her. Meghan, who was previously adored by the press, has had a smear campaign brought against her in recent weeks.

According to many outlets, Meghan and her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, are having a feud. The rumors got so bad that Kensington Palace had to step in and quash the story. Other negative stories that are making the rounds? That Meghan was a bridezilla, is too demanding of her staff, and was rude during a family dinner. There are even rumors that Prince William had doubts about the wedding in the first place!

Although Meghan avoids reading negative stories about herself, sometimes it’s hard to avoid.

A royal source told Vanity Fair: “Meghan is a believer in karma and she doesn’t want to sit there reading negative online stories and comments about herself. She feels to a degree the British press is out to get her and while she’s aware of the news and what’s going on, she tries her best not to read all the stories about her.”
