There were some very royal guests in attendance at the London premiere of The Lion King!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped out to attend the premiere on Sunday.

The stars of the movie, including Seth Rogen, Keegan-Michael Key, and Billy Eichner, were starstruck as they greeted Meghan and Harry on the red carpet.

“I’m really honored that out of their schedules, that this is something that they’d want to attend,” Keegan-Michael Key said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been more low-key with public appearances since the birth of baby Archie in May. Meghan is still on maternity leave, but apparently The Lion King was worth leaving home for!

The Duchess of Sussex shared a special embrace with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Since Beyoncé is basically royalty in the US, fans are obsessed with the moment that these two women met. Beyoncé whispered in Meghan’s ear, “My princess.”

Also, the duchess bonded with Billy Eichner, who plays Timon, about both going to Northwestern University and studying acting.

Billy was understandably freaked out prior to meeting the Sussexes.

“OMG Here I am completely freaking out to @Sethrogen about how I’m going to greet Prince Harry and Meghan I’M CRYING,” he wrote on Twitter.

Thankfully, he totally kept it cool when the moment came. He says the couple was “super down to earth and lovely.”
