Feud? What feud?
The royals are no strangers to drama, and they’ve been dealing with quite a lot of it lately.
Rumors have been running rampant that there is growing tension between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, with supposed “insiders” claiming that there have been a number of confrontations between the two. The unending stories even prompted Kensington Palace to make a rare public statement, shutting down a report that Kate and Meghan had a tiff ahead of the latter’s wedding over how Kate’s staff was being treated.
The latest rumors claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would be spending Christmas with Kate’s family in Bucklebury, seemingly signaling even more tension between the royal in-laws.
In previous years, the couple has alternated between spending the holiday with each of their families — according to Elle, they spent Christmas with the royals last year and with the Middletons in 2016.
But royal insiders report that Will and Kate will be joining the royal family, including Harry and Meghan, for the second year in a row at the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
People‘s source also reported that the royal “Fab Four” enjoyed their first Christmas together in 2017, when Meghan joined the family at Sandringham as Harry’s new fiancée: “They really loved Christmas and all had a wonderful time. I think the two women got on — they are definitely not best friends, but it was a really special time for them all to spend together.”
Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, might also join the royals for Christmas — in a groundbreaking move, Doria was reportedly invited by the Queen.
