Long before Meghan Markle was the Duchess of Sussex, she was the founder and editor of a lifestyle website called The Tig.

She shut down the site after she started dating Prince Harry, for understandable reasons.

But soon, Meghan is going to return to her editorial roots with a stint as the editor of British Vogue.

Meghan will be the guest editor for British Vogue‘s September 2019 issue. The September issue is always the biggest and most important issue of the year, because it highlights all of the fall fashion trends, so this is a huge honor for Meghan!

In addition to editing the issue, the Duchess of Sussex’s own words will appear in the pages.

“Meghan will be writing an opinion piece of her own as well as bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays,” a source told Us Weekly.

She’ll also appear in a photo shoot for the issue, posing for photos right in her home, Frogmore Cottage.

This will be Meghan’s first appearance in a magazine since 2017, when she was the cover star of Vanity Fair. The article came out just before her engagement to Prince Harry was announced. She opened up about what it was like to be thrust into the spotlight as his new girlfriend.

It remains to be seen what Meghan will choose to write about and which “female change-makers” she’ll feature! But we’re certainly excited to find out.
