Given all the hoopla surrounding Meghan Markle’s new royal life, we sometimes forget that she got her start as actress. Which means she’s had plenty of practice being the center of attention.
“I first met Meghan several years ago, when she was just getting ready to go on the show Suits,” dishes Spencer Barnes, who worked with the Duchess of Sussex on her looks in the early stages of her acting career.
“We kept [her] skin radiant, fresh, well moisturized, and hydrated,” Spencer explains, also pointing out that, “Meghan loves having her eyes pop a little bit.”
But while Meghan is only 36 years young, the conversation with Spencer turns to a problem that all women eventually begin dealing with: neck lines.
There are a number of tricks that women can use to keep these minimized. Blake Lively is known for holding her head high on the red carpet, a trick that certainly helps keep such marks to a minimum. You can also go the Rihanna route with makeup or follow Halle Berry’s heavy moisturizing routine. And if you want to really swing for the fences, there’s always Botox.
But Spencer also mentions his own revolutionary product, an $89 sculpting wand specifically designed to minimize the inevitable lines on a woman’s neck. You can see some of his behind-the-scenes shots with other famous actresses and learn more about the dreaded “tech neck” below…
