Whipped cream is the perfect addition to a cappuccino and tastes delicious on almost any cake. And, to my delight, there’s a way to whip it up in just seven minutes.

As seen in the video below, whipped cream can easily be made at home without the use of a hand mixer. Instead, it’s replaced with a Mason jar.

These jars are a great tool for many chefs, like these ladies who use them to make cherry pie. They can even be used to make a smoothie.

When making the whipped cream, all you have to do is put a cork and some heavy cream in the Mason jar and shake it up well. It sounds almost too good to be true, right?

Since several minutes of shaking can be tiresome for one person, the hosts in the video suggest getting some help from a friend or your children.

And, once the shaking is done, you can also add some flavoring like powdered sugar and vanilla.

But, be careful not to shake for too long. Just wait till you see what it will turn into after seven minutes at the video’s 1:53 mark.

Here’s all you’ll need:

  • Mason jar
  • Cork
  • ½ cup heavy cream
