Our bodies are the reflections of how we nourish them and how we care for ourselves. It’s not easy to get in shape, and we can hit a few obstacles along the way.

Andy Albertson was overweight for most of life and continued to be until he tipped the scale at 317 pounds. He decided he needed a change, and embarked on a weight-loss journey he hoped would change his life.

With the help of friends, family, and a trainer, he persevered and pushed himself to make big, lasting changes.

Along the way, his family started recording his journey and documenting his progress.

Now, 22-year-old Andy is down 176 pounds and looks like a totally different person.

He says that he barely has any memories of when he was larger, but looking back at photos of him in his youth and at his heaviest, he’s come a very long way.

But that’s not all — Andy’s weight loss and transformation have gone viral. People all over the country are reading about him and how he was lonely and isolated because of his weight. Now, it’s a different story, and he stands with pride.

He’s also doing what he can to encourage others to take the leap into their own journey. He’s even inspired his mother to lose weight. So far, she’s lost 60 pounds!
