There’s just too much fun to be had in life to spend hours on my hair and makeup every day.

Yes, I like to glam it up, but other days (read: most), I just stick with lazy girl makeup hacks.

So I was thrilled, then, when I saw this video by working mom and lifestyle expert Jordan Reid, who figured out how to keep that lipstick sticking all day long! Her tips are just genius, and most of them I can try using products I already have around my house  including a toothbrush and tissues!

One of the key tips I took from Jordan is that choosing your lipstick formula is super-important. I love glossy lips, but glossy formulas simply don’t last.

I’m going to save the glossy lips for a glamorous night out when I don’t mind reapplying a bunch, and instead use a creamy, moisturizing formula like Smashbox Be Legendary Cream Lipstick or a matte one like NARS Pure Matte Lipstick for my everyday, low-maintenance lips.

I’m also going to prevent (and conceal) any unfortunate feathering by adding a small amount of cover-up  like Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer  to border my lips. Sure, this adds a whopping third ingredient to my daily face routine, but the trade-off of not having to reapply my lipstick so often is more than worth it!

You’ve got to check out the rest of these easy lipstick tips to make your pout last the whole day! I’m going to use every single one of them the next time I go for my signature look.
