Cat Goes Absolutely Nuts Every Time Postal Worker Walks By His Window

Postal workers don’t just deliver the mail. As they go from door-to-door, traveling the same well-worn path, they’re building relationships.

But sometimes, as you can see in this video posted on YouTube last month, a relationship can go horribly sour.

In the video, a Canada Post worker is seen approaching the front door of a house in Hamilton, Ontario. Then a cat appears in the window.

The cat throws himself at the window — and for an instant, you can see him flattened against the glass, all crazy-eyes-and-claws.

He bounces back off the window. And tries again.

There are all kinds of stories about the friendships mail carriers make on their daily errands. Like the New Zealand mailman who’s greeted with a wagging tail and kisses from a dog every time he stops in.

Of course, not every postal worker gets along swimmingly with the community he serves. A mail deliverer in Colorado grew so fed up with wading through uncollected dog droppings, he refused to make any more deliveries.

This relationship between a ferocious feline and a mail carrier looks to be both sweet and sour. On one hand, the mail carrier looks pretty excited to see the cat — something she’s obviously gotten used to over time.

On the other hand, the cat looks like he would like to cut her.

We may never know the cat’s true feelings for his daily visitor. Maybe he pounces on his own family like a ball of barbed wire every time they come in the door.

Or maybe no one’s been seen leaving that house for a very long time.
