Maid Of Honor Breaks Into Surprise ‘Fresh Prince’ Theme Song Parody At Big Sister’s Wedding

My best friend is getting married next year, and she’s already told me that I have to give an amazing speech about her and her soon-to-be hubby.

While I’ll probably go the traditional route of poking a little bit of fun at the bride while explaining why the couple is perfect for one another, I don’t think I would ever have the guts that this maid of honor does.

Lauren Melchionda was granted the honor of being the maid of honor in her big sister’s wedding. With the title, Lauren had to come up with a moving speech during the reception.

“I wasn’t really sure how to go about doing a speech for this,” Lauren admitted to the room full of wedding guests.

“I could stand up here, say a few words, make people cry… or I could sing a song.”

Lauren decided to go with the second option and sing a song. But it wasn’t just any song. The maid of honor created a rap to the theme song of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and even the bridesmaids got in on it, too.

Lauren raps about the newlyweds’ first time meeting as well as “smellin’ her later” after the bride gets hitched. It’s safe to say that it was a total hit with the bride, groom, and all the guests.
