It’s no secret that dogs are pretty much the best, but to truly capture just how sweet they are, photographer Lynn Terry created a special photo booth, built just for dogs.
The first time she used it, Lynn used the photos to show the world that pit bulls — a breed that faces major discrimination — are just as loving and lovable as any other breed.
Unfortunately, the ingrained ideas about them mean they have trouble getting adopted, even though they make wonderful family dogs. If you don’t believe us, just see what happened when a woman met an “aggressive” pit bull in the shelter.
And the photo booth is popular with other kinds of dogs, too — plus it’s universally flattering!

Just like people, the dogs show their true personalities in the booths.
And just like people, someone always gets caught mid-blink.
It all started when she created a calendar for a local shelter. It was a big hit.
After taking a break from photographing animals, she returned to it with portraits of Bumper and Willis, two rescued pit bulls that came from horrific, abusive pasts as fighting dogs.
But even after all that, Bumper and Willis were still sweet, loving animals. They started kissing immediately after stepping into the photo booth!
For her part, Lynn is eternally grateful for the whole thing. 'I truly believe that I owe my career to animal rescue,' she says. 'Through my photography, I have had the opportunity to generate much-needed revenue for these organizations.'
'[And] in return, I have been able to produce a huge collection of beautiful imagery.'
Her clients agree!
She also hopes that the photos of pit bulls in particular will help change public opinion about the breed.
You can also see much more of Lynn’s photography on her website and Facebook page, and be sure to check out her book of photo booth pictures and the 2016 calendar she created for nonprofit animal organization Mutts N Stuff.
