Police officers deal with lots of unusual cases.

From pry bars flying through car windows to dance parties, there’s almost nothing a police officer can’t handle.

I bet most cops have really incredible stories to tell — but a few officers in New Jersey might just have the most adorable story of all time.

New Jersey state troopers stumbled upon a tiny piglet, lost in Commercial Township, New Jersey.

The lost little piggy was running around in search of his owner, who was nowhere to be found. Luckily, the kindhearted cops were there to keep him safe.

One officer is familiar with farm animals, so he took the cutie home and dubbed him Norris for the time being.

The name is so fitting for such a cute little piglet.

Of course, the officer didn’t just take Norris home. Immediately he and his colleagues began to look for Norris’ family, hoping they could send him back to his loving home.

I’ve only ever had dogs, cats, and fish as pets, but I knew someone in school who had a micro pig. Norris definitely makes me wish I had a piglet to call my own.

Check out the video below to find out if Norris was reunited with his family, and please SHARE this cute little piggy on Facebook!
