You’re about to meet an incredible woman who decided to take a stand and save her own life when no one else could.
Lindsey had been bullied since she was five years old. Classmates called her “cow,” “fatso,” and “earthquake.” And, by the time she was 12, doctors had already told her that she would probably need gastric bypass surgery due to a slew of health problems. Lindsey only knew that she was doomed from the start.
When she turned 25, Lindsey went to the doctor’s office to “fulfill her destiny” and schedule the surgery — but, to her surprise, the doctors said no.
They told her that the surgery was unnecessary, and that she could drop the weight on her own with proper dedication and perseverance.
At this point, many people would haven give up. That’s why I couldn’t believe it when Lindsey continued her story, saying she went on to dedicate herself to the great challenge before her. Wait until you see Lindsey by the end of this video, after she lost nearly 300 pounds. The side-by-side comparison of her in her red dress? I mean, come on! This is remarkable! Just like Cheryl and Tessa, a mother-daughter duo who teamed up to lose weight, together.
