2 Men Quickly Start Filming When They Spot A Leg Sticking Out Of A Beaver Dam

For the most part, we know what to expect when we take a trip out into the wild.

Whether we’re biking through beautiful trails, swimming in our local creek, or even just taking a leisurely stroll through the park, nature has so much to offer.

But nothing could have prepared these two friends for what they saw the day they decided to go canoeing.

They quickly started filming when they spotted a foreign object sticking out of a beaver dam, and quite honestly, I would have freaked out if I saw this, too!

Unexpected discoveries are the best! I’m always delighted to see a surprise reveal — whether that’s the pizza delivery man who changed someone’s life, or a firefighter who discovered something priceless in the ashes of a home that caught fire.

It’s lucky that a beaver didn’t make off with this unexpected surprise, though.

What about you? Have you ever seen something strange out in the middle of nowhere? I hope you were able to snap a photo of it!

Two friends were traveling along a creek recently when they came upon a strange sight. They couldn’t quite make out what it was until their little boat drifted closer.

Can you see what it is?

It looked as though a human leg were sticking out of a beaver dam not too far from their canoe! I’m getting the heebie jeebies just looking at this picture.

Both Elliot Fuller and Jason Franklin seem visibly puzzled when they yanked the prosthetic from the mud and weeds, showing it to the camera that’s recording the discovery.

As it turns out, though, it wasn’t too hard to find the owner!

A man named Mark Warner had posted a Craigslist ad searching for his missing prosthetic leg.

“Canoe tipped over at the Range Line Lake boat launch in Wabeno,” he wrote. “Managed to get my fishing gear and cooler but my prosthetic leg got away from me. It’s an older model Otto Bock below knee.”

Not only were Fuller and Franklin able to return the prosthetic, but they received a $50 reward as well! It’s nice to hear about stories like these with such a happy ending.

This just proves the old adage: one person’s trash is another person’s treasure!
