Turn Leftover Pancakes Into A Delectable Layer Cake With Scrumptious Cream Cheese Frosting

by Kate Taylor
Kate is a writer who laughs at her own jokes and likes to pour too much hot sauce on her food.

Some people’s favorite parts of a big breakfast are the bacon and eggs. But if you ask me, it’s all about the pancakes.

Pancakes have always held a special place in my heart, as they’re basically a loophole that allows me to enjoy what is essentially dessert for breakfast. It’s every kid’s dream, and I’ve never aged out of it.

Most foods that are as good as pancakes will not yield any leftovers. However, since pancakes are so easy, cheap, and fun to make, I always find myself with some left over.

Instead of throwing them out, I began to wonder if there was a way to repurpose these leftovers and make them into something that’s different but equally delicious.

Enter the leftover pancake layer cake. This recipe is so easy and good, you’ll start making too many pancakes on purpose.

Luckily, no one will be complaining after tasting the delicious layered creation.
