Watch As New York City Chef Remakes Leftover Chicken Parm Into Winning Chicken Marsala Dish

On LittleThings’ Facebook Live show Slice, we invite brave and creative members of the food industry to take the “Leftover Makeover Challenge,” in which they make a new, inventive dish out of — you guessed it — leftovers.

This week, we have invited Chef Eliana Goldman to put her culinary creativity to the test. Eliana explores her lifelong passion for all things food through her website The Whole “EL”chilada. When she’s not working on The Whole “EL”chilada, she teaches children’s cooking classes at Freshmade NYC.

According to Chef Eliana’s website, her love of food began with the classic dish, spaghetti and meatballs. Today, she’ll be tackling another iconic Italian meal by transforming leftover chicken parm into something completely different with just 20 minutes on the clock.

She will also have access to the LittleThings’ pantry. Some of the pantry items include:

  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Cremini mushrooms
  • Butter
  • Parsley
  • Chicken broth
  • Fruits and veggies
  • Garlic
  • Orzo
  • Wine

The final product will be judged on taste, presentation, and creativity by food critic and YouTuber Daymon Patterson. Is Chef Eliana up to the challenge? Only time will tell.
