When Lauren Swanson and Josiah Duggar tied the knot on June 30, 2018, they couldn’t wait to start a family.

A few months after their wedding, they were thrilled to find out that Lauren was pregnant! They immediately shared the exciting news with their families.

Unfortunately, soon after announcing they were expecting, Lauren and Josiah suffered a miscarriage. They were absolutely devastated, but they were hopeful that they would get pregnant again soon.

Now, seven months after experiencing the miscarriage, the couple has announced that they’re expecting again!

In a statement, they told People, “Every good and perfect gift is from above and we are looking forward to this new season of parenting together!” They also shared two new photos, in which they’re holding a sign that says, “Rainbow after the storm. Baby #2.”

Lauren and Josiah are due to welcome their baby this fall. And because the Duggar family is so big, this new baby will have lots of similarly aged cousins. Ben and Jessa are expecting their third child in June, Josh and Anna are expecting their sixth child this fall, Joe and Kendra are expecting their second child this fall, and Joy-Anna and Austin are expecting their second child this fall.

This year has already been a very exciting one for the Duggar family, and with so many babies on the way, it will only get more fun from here.
