A Cat Sanctuary Is Home To Over 300 Formerly Stray Kitties… And They Couldn’t Be Happier

Lāna`i Cat Sanctuary, founded in 2008, is a cat sanctuary located in Hawaii. It’s home to over 300 grateful, formerly homeless kitties

The sanctuary provides many services for their rescued cats, including foster homes, shelter, adoptions, veterinary care, and spay and neutering services. The organization also provides humane education to the human community to help people better understand how to help these animals.

As a cat lover, it warms my heart to watch all of these sweet felines safe, sound, and loved in this sanctuary. Whenever I think about all of the stray cats out there in the world, fending for themselves and fighting illness, it just breaks my heart.

But then, I see that there are people like this doing their darnedest to help the cats in their community.

Clearly, these cats are as happy as can be. Some have scars from their past lives, like mysterious nicks in their ears. Seeing them able to truly relax in peace and play with their new friends is so amazing, because some of them have had to bounce back from so much. Maybe cats really do have nine lives!

You can donate to help the sanctuary save even more kitties! All of these happy babies are also available for adoption, both within the island and in the continental United States. They all seem so sweet!

Please SHARE these happy kitties with your friends and family!
