Little lambs are some of the cutest animals out there, their fur is so incredibly soft and they look like living stuffed animals.

They also make a great addition to fuzzy animal duos — just look at how adorable this baby lamb and cat are.

Farmer Mark Bayley and his children are fortunate enough to get to see little lambs all the time at their farm in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Mark and his daughter Zara were busy looking over a group that had recently been born when the girl spotted something out of the ordinary. “Dad, look,”‘ she said. “That lamb has five legs.”

And that’s when they realized they had a special fuzzy baby on their hands.

The lamb, named Forest, actually did have an extra appendage — a fifth leg hanging down his left side.

It doesn’t actually function as a leg though, seeing as it doesn’t reach all the way down to the ground. It just sort of swings side to side as he gallops along with his perplexed peers.

“There was one lamb that looked at Forest, and then down at itself, as if to wonder why it was missing a leg,” joked Mark.

The fuzzy baby definitely proves that cuteness comes in all shapes and sizes, and that sometimes our abnormalities are what make us the most lovable.
