Ally is a born-and-bred Jersey Girl who studied English and Journalism at Rutgers University. In her free time, she spends too much money on food, continues the endless search for her next favorite book, and fails to use her gym membership on a daily basis. She comes from a huge, crazy family that sells Fish & Chips for a living and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

High school sweethearts Kristian and Fabian Guerrero were happily expecting their first child until tragedy struck on August 2, 2016.

The couple was driving along State Highway 21 in San Marcos, TX, when they were involved in a horrific car accident with an alleged drunk driver. Both Fabian, 23, and their unborn son lost their lives as a result.

While Kristian, 24, was left heartbroken by the loss of her family, the grieving wife and mother is already using her story to help others.

Kristian has been speaking out since the accident, asking everyone to step in if they see an instance of drunk driving about to occur.

Her goal is to save as many lives as possible, and to keep others from meeting the same fate that she and her family did last month.

Now, she has posted a touching update on her Facebook page, showcasing her incredible strength, but also reinforcing the importance of her message.

If you can keep just one drunk driver off the road, that’s a lifesaving action. And that could make all the difference to a family just trying to get home.

Kristian and Fabian Guerrero were high school sweethearts who fell in love when she was just a sophomore, and he a freshman.

The adorable couple made it official last November in a beautiful wedding ceremony.

A few months after their wedding, the couple announced that they were expecting a baby in December 2016.

But a tragic car accident changed everything for the young family. An alleged drunk driver took both Fabian and their unborn son’s life during the summer of 2016.

Now, Kristian is providing a touching update as well as spreading an important message.

The grieving wife and mother was sure to include a photo of the first time she held her son, named Fabian after his father, and the car that the couple was traveling in.

She is asking that everyone be vigilant and step in before a friend gets behind the wheel after they’ve been drinking.

Now, Kristian’s positive outlook and important message are honoring her husband and son until they can meet again.
