Words can’t even begin to describe how ready I am for summer. I’m excited spend the next few months lounging in pools, on boats, and getting some sun on the beach.

I have been devouring the internet for ideas of how to make this summer the best it could possibly be. I’ve found a way to make a floating beverage cooler and how to make the perfect grill for my yard.

And when I stumbled upon the delicious Kiwi-Strawberry Wine Slushie recipe in the video below, I got even more excited for summer. It’s just like the snow cones/shaved ices/slushies you used to get as a kid, but these are a little more fun for adults.

To make them, you just need a blender, an ice cube tray and these ingredients:

  • kiwis
  • strawberries
  • powdered sugar
  • a sweet white wine

Now, if you’re not a kiwi-strawberry person, you can swap them out for the fruit of your choice. I can personally vouch that peaches and Moscato pair really well together, and if you enjoy red wines, try mixing some pomegranate juice, a pint of blackberries, and a California merlot — delicious!

If you end up making this incredibly easy treat, let us know how it turned out for you. I personally can’t wait to make this at my next party.
