Sacramento Firefighters Save A Kitten With Its Hind Leg Stuck In A Fence

First responders answer calls no matter what the situation: Some may be serious, and others may be not as urgent, but they respond nonetheless.

That’s just one of many reasons why we love them!

They do not discriminate between people and animals, and quickly come to the aid of both. And Sacramento firefighters have a lot of experience with both types of rescues: They recently recovered a litter of eight kittens trapped inside a storm drain, and patiently picked out each one as the mother cat anxiously watched on.

This time, they received a strange and perplexing alert: A tiny white kitten was found with only one hind leg stuck in between the planks of a fence.

How the kitten got off the ground and stuck so high up is a mystery!

The poor little one was stuck in the awkward position, suspended in the air.

In the footage taken by the Sacramento Fire Department, a firefighter is seen gently trying to pry the white kitten from her trap. The animal doesn’t move, likely frightened for what’s to come.

But in no time, she’s released, and is carried away. She was recently put up for adoption — and we’re sure that she will have no problem finding a home!
