If you have kids, you know that celebrating their birthdays is an important milestone for both of you. After all, it’s your kind of your birthday too.

With that said, it’s easy to get a little carried away and put a lot of pressure on yourself to plan the perfect soiree.

On this episode of Truth Bomb Mom, Kristina Kuzmic offers up very specific instructions on how to throw the perfect birthday party for your child.

Kristina warns, “If you screw up the way you celebrate your child’s birthday, you could screw up your child.” She continues, “Then they’ll end up in therapy for the rest of their lives talking about you and your inadequate party-throwing skills.”

According to Kristina, there is an extremely long and specific list of things to do in order to ensure that a birthday celebration will coincide with your child’s future happiness. For instance, she stresses the importance of spending, “hours and hours making homemade birthday invitations.”

Another of her tips is that if you don’t sneak into your kid’s room in the morning and saturate the ceiling with balloons to surprise them for when they wake up, why did you even become a mother in the first place?

Of course, Kristina has plenty of more tips where those came from, including to disregard all of the above, because if you haven’t already picked up on this, she’s joking.
