On September 1, 2019, 40-year-old comedian and actor Kevin Hart was involved in a horrific car accident.

He was reportedly sitting in the passenger seat when the driver of his car drove off Mulholland Highway, rolled down an embankment, and struck a tree head-on.

Kevin miraculously survived, but he was left with a severely fractured spine that required him to undergo major surgery. He struggled to walk again, even with the aid of nurses, a walker, and physical therapy.

Kevin was released from the hospital 10 days after the accident. He returned home to his wife, Eniko, 14-year-old daughter Heaven, 11-year-old son Hendrix, and 1-year-old son Kenzo.

He had a large scar running down his back and a long road to recovery.

After being seen in public for the first time again, Hart recently took to Instagram with an eye-opening update for his millions of fans. It seems his near-death experience has really changed his outlook on everything he thought he knew.
