Kelly is a hard-working mom of three daughters. She’s also the “neighborhood mom” who helps drive other kids in the neighborhood back and forth to school.
And as if that isn’t exhausting enough, she also works two jobs to pay the bills.
This is what a typical day in Kelly’s life looks like:
- Wake up at 6:30 a.m.
- Get kids ready for school
- Take youngest to school
- Pick up neighbor’s kids
- Take older kids to bus stop
- Go to work for 8 hours
- Go to catering job
- Go home, go to bed, repeat
In Spring, 2016, Kelly’s old car began falling apart, and she didn’t have time or money to fix it. Her car issues only added to her mounting stress.
Kelly prays for no stress and for her and her girls to be happy, but sometimes, the rigors of life are too much to bear.
In the clip below, Kelly is at work and has no idea the FOX5 Surprise Squad is about to help fix her car at no cost. “Everything in my life is great,” she says. “It’s just I think every now and then, everybody needs a little help.”
But there’s an even bigger surprise in store… you’ll have to watch the video below to find out what it is.
