In September, Kensington Palace announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting their third child.

The baby would join older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Since September, Princess Kate has been suffering from severe morning sickness, also known as hyperemesis gravidarum. She has stayed out of the public eye for the past few weeks on bed rest, even missing her son’s first day of school.

However, she recently made a public appearance with her husband, debuting her tiny baby bump.

And now, more positive updates are coming out of Kensington Palace: the next royal baby is due in April of next year!

Everyone is thrilled to know if the child will be a boy or a girl, and there are already many bets placed on how the child will be named.

The due date is around the same time media outlets suggest Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot, should they already be engaged (though no official announcement has been made).

Hopefully, Kate Middleton has been regaining her strength to continue having a healthy and happy pregnancy! The arrival of the newest member of the royal family is sure to make waves all over the globe.

Do you think the royal couple is expecting a boy or a girl?
