Sometimes we catch things on camera that are too adorable not to share. These two kangaroos definitely fit into that category!
In the video below, posted on May 17, 2017, two kangaroos are standing next to each other inside the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs, Australia. Suddenly, they begin showing off their friendship while someone’s camera records their every move.
The kangaroos start to cover each other in warm, cuddly hugs in front of a metal fence. They nuzzle their heads into each other’s chests and grab onto one another’s arms.
The cameraman says that they are “always cuddling.” The man’s words seem to match the animals’ actions pretty well.
They seem to be taking turns hugging, with both seeming very receptive to getting the embraces. But soon, all of the snuggles come to an end.
Both kangaroos simultaneously look up and see the camera facing them. At this point, they both decide it’s a very opportune time for a joint belly scratch.
So, the marsupial pals do just that. They look like twins enjoying the limelight for a bit. I bet the man filming is so glad he caught this precious moment on film!
