Cindy Crawford is 53 years old, but she’s aging flawlessly. You’d never think that the supermodel would be old enough to have an adult child, let alone two.
Cindy’s son, Presley, is 20 years old. Her daughter and bona fide twin, Kaia Gerber, just turned 18 years old. Kaia celebrated her birthday at the Edition Hotel in New York City. The celebration came on the first night of New York Fashion Week. She channeled one of her mom’s iconic looks for the occasion, and she killed it.
Kaia wore a black leather miniskirt with a strappy and sheer bodysuit. She topped off the ’90s leather look with super voluminous hairdo, a statement belt, and strappy black heels.
It was reminiscent of Cindy’s 1992 MTV Video Music Awards look. She wore a similar bodysuit with gold buckle accents but completed the look with black dress pants. Cindy was also there for Kaia’s celebration in a gold bodysuit with matching gold, glittery wig.
Cindy Crawford seems to be aging in reverse. It’s hard to believe the supermodel is 53 years old and officially has two adult children. Her son, Presley, is 20. Her daughter, Kaia Gerber, just celebrated her 18th birthday.
Kaia may just be entering adulthood, but she already has a pretty impressive résumé. She’s already appeared in multiple editions of Vogue. She’s also graced more than a few runways, following in her mom’s footsteps.
Kaia channeled one of Cindy’s iconic looks as she celebrated her 18th birthday in New York City. For her celebration at the Edition Hotel, Kaia wore a sheer bodysuit with strappy black accents, a black leather miniskirt, a statement belt, and strappy black heels. Her hair was in a bold bouffant.
The killer look was reminiscent of Cindy’s 1992 MTV Video Music Awards outfit. Cindy wore a similar bodysuit with gold accent buckles but paired it with black dress pants instead. She also rocked big hair with the outfit.
Cindy also appeared at the event with husband Rande Gerber. She wore a gold bodysuit with a matching gold glittery wig. Rande wore a Western-style stitched button-down shirt with a leather cap.
Cindy, who was channeling Cher with her look, took a picture with her daughter at the event. It’s unbelievable how much the two women look alike. It could be a picture of Cindy with her younger self.
Kaia’s birthday bash came on the first night of New York Fashion Week. She’s already appeared in two shows. She opened the Longchamp show on Saturday, where Kendall Jenner was among the onlookers in the audience.
Yesterday, Kaia looked incredible as she walked the Tom Ford show. She modeled the punk-inspired styles alongside Gigi Hadid, who also graced the runway. Celebrities filled the audience, including Miley Cyrus.
Kaia’s actual birthday is on September 3. Cindy posted a sweet tribute to her little girl on the day. In one picture, Kaia is a little girl in a Minnie Mouse costume. In the second, she’s in an edgy look, wearing a fishnet shirt.
Rande also posted a tribute to Kaia. He posted a photo of Kaia when she was a little girl dressed as a princess. “Officially an adult today but always my little princess. Happy Birthday!” the proud dad captioned the photo.
Fashion week appearances and a birthday aren’t the only big things happening for Kaia. In July, she appeared in her first music video. She appeared in the video for “Burnout” by John Eatherly, reminiscent of Cindy’s appearance in George Michael’s “Freedom ’90” video.
Kaia is also gracing the cover of the October 2019 cover for British Vogue. Kaia posted a photo from the shoot, which she captioned, “October issue of @britishvogue by #stevenmeisel is out! thank you @edward_enninful for the best birthday present, and to everyone involved #joemckenna, @guidopalau, @patmcgrathreal, and @jinsoonchoi ❤️.”
Kaia may have an emerging modeling career and everything else going for her, but she still has plenty of time for her family. Kaia, Presley, and their parents grabbed a crazy IHOP breakfast together for Father’s Day where they ordered the whole menu.
It must be an exciting ride to be Cindy Crawford’s daughter, but Kaia is ready to step out on her own and make a name for herself. She’s off to an incredible start, but she’s still grounded enough to make time for mom and dad.
