Jessica Alba is one busy woman. With the recent addition of her third child, Hayes, to her family, Jessica certainly has her hands full, but a new baby hasn’t stopped the entrepreneur and actress from heading into work and running her business, the Honest Company.
Jessica and her husband Cash Warren welcomed their first son and third child to the family on December 31, 2017. Though Jessica is technically still on maternity leave, she still goes into the office every now and again for meetings, and sometimes brings her baby along, too.
On February 8, just a little over a month after the birth of baby Hayes, Jessica had to head back into the office for a meeting, and so she went with baby in tow. Being the momtrepreneur she is, Jessica used her lunch break at work to breastfeed Hayes, defending every woman’s right to be a mom and have a career.
“Went into my @honest office today for a board meeting, although I’m still technically on mat leave,” Jessica wrote on Instagram. “Baby boy came to visit/eat at lunch. Felt very productive today.”
Several other celebrity moms have also come to the defense of breastfeeding in public. Speaking to Wendy Williams, Alyssa Milano supported her right to breastfeed in public, saying, “Would you eat under a blanket?”
Actress Amanda Seyfried similarly came to the defense of doing this when she wrote: “Breastfeeding is awesome. Formula is awesome. Feeding your baby is awesome. Not awesome? Judgement.”
