When Sergeant Jason Cohen returned home from the U.S. Air Force, he wanted to do something special for his family.
He snuck into his house while wife Tiffany and their 3-year-old son Jaxson were out. From there, he planned a homecoming surprise that was simply perfect.
In the video below, posted on May 17, 2017, the airman is sitting on his living room couch when his wife’s car pulls into the driveway. As they get out of the car and start walking toward the house, Jason springs up while a friend or family member continues to film for him.
Jason walks over to the door and waits patiently inside the house. The airman is all smiles as he waits to be reunited with his family.
Suddenly, Tiffany cracks the front door open and swings it away from Jason. There is a long, silent pause before Tiffany shrieks at the sight of her husband standing inside their home. The couple kisses and soon, their son has a big reaction, too.
Little Jaxson can’t believe his dad is finally home and repeatedly yells, “Daddy, daddy!”
Jason picks up his little boy and brings him inside the house.
Tiffany is still outside in shock, but gets it together enough to enter her home at last. Finally, the family is together again and excited to spend time together.
