Most of us remember Jane Seymour as the face of the 1970s. The English model and actress, born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg, was everywhere — from the big screen to magazine pages.
Jane shot into stardom as a Bond girl in the 1973 film Live and Let Die — but she was more than just a one-hit wonder. She went on to star in almost countless movies and TV series after Bond, and magazines flew off the shelves when she posed for Playboy in ’73 and ’87.
Now 67 years old, Jane is a mom of four and a proud grandmother — but she also hasn’t shied away from the spotlight that has followed her for most of her life. In February 2018, the same month she turned 67, Jane modeled for Playboy once again.
Jane announced the shoot and accompanying interview on her Instagram account, sharing with her fans, “I open up about my career, my family, feeling better-than-ever at 67 and so much more!”

An earlier version of this story said that Jane is a mother of three. She actually has four children.
For many of us, Jane Seymour will always be a Bond girl. But it’s been 45 years since Live and Let Die was released in theaters, and the ’70s beauty has proved, over and over, that she is so much more than just a sidekick.
Posing for the iconic Playboy magazine for the first time in over 30 years, Jane gave readers a brief look into her life in sunny California — thousands of miles away from her birthplace in rainy England.
These days, Jane is doing better than ever — something she attributes to her age. She told Playboy: “I feel much sexier now than I ever did when I was younger. Then, I was like, ‘Oh gosh, I’m supposed to be sexy. What is that?’ There’s an enormous freedom in having lived as long as I have. Like my father used to say, I’m comfortable in my own skin.”
Now a mother of four and a proud grandmother, there’s more to Jane’s life than her physical attractiveness and her acting career, although both are still important to the timeless beauty. What’s most important, though, she told Playboy, is “authentically being me.”
Jane admitted to the magazine that she’s never had any kind of cosmetic surgery — not even simple injections. She said: “Everyday I’m kind of tempted, but then I look at people I know and I don’t [recognize] them. I’m authentically being me. That’s important to me.”
Despite having turned 67 just days before her Playboy interview, Jane shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. She’s currently starring in Let’s Get Physical, the Pop TV show that Variety called “a fun little venture,” but which Playboy called “more than enough of an excuse for [Jane] to show off her ballet-bred, gym-maintained body.”
There’s no question that women of any age might envy Jane’s body — this is only her third ever appearance in Playboy, although it seems like she could’ve graced the pages of every single issue and no one ever would’ve complained.
Playboy insisted that, at 67, Jane is “hotter and funnier than ever before” — and her newest interview proved that and so much more.
What do you think about Jane’s newest interview? Would you ever pose for Playboy at 67?
