Jamie Dornan may bare quite a bit of his body in the sexy Fifty Shades trilogy, but there are some parts of himself he prefers to keep offscreen.

In a recent interview with ELLE, Jamie opened up about the third and final installment of the Fifty Shades series, Fifty Shades Freed, which is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 9, 2018. He also addressed fans’ ongoing disappointment that he’s never gone fully nude in any of the three movies.

When asked why he wouldn’t go full frontal, Jamie admitted that he couldn’t recall if he’d explicitly stated he wouldn’t do it. That said, he just doesn’t think showing his penis is necessary for the movie, in which he co-stars with Dakota Johnson.

“I just thought, ‘We don’t need to be flashing the rest if it’s not essential to the story.’ We’re not making porn as much as people think we are,” he explained.

Of course, there are certain parts of the Irish actor that fans can definitely expect to see in Fifty Shades Freed and the previous two movies: “You see my arse quite a lot. That doesn’t really bother me. You see a lot of Dakota’s tits. I would show my tits if I had them.”

Jamie also addressed rumors that he’d been offered an extra $1 million to agree to full-frontal nudity — reports he calls completely false. “It was $30 million — to show one testicle,” he joked, laughing. “No, that whole thing with offering more money to go nude? That didn’t happen.”

Check out the video below to hear Jamie share more of his thoughts on full-frontal nudity and saying goodbye to Christian Grey in his recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.
