One of our new favorite baked-egg recipes honors Italian food’s most celebrated ingredients: marinara sauce, cheese, and basil. Eating this dish is sort of like enjoying a pizza and an egg dish all in one cute little meal!
Using Eggland’s Best eggs will make for an incredibly flavorful finish. Load up this dish with other delicious ingredients (including a few of your favorite cheeses), and bake them up for an entire egg-based meal.
Baked eggs are super simple to make: all you need are a few ramekins and some of your favorite foods to mix in.
Once all of the ingredients are added, the eggs only need a little time in the oven to cook the whites through, giving it the perfect baked texture.

- 2 Eggland’s Best eggs
1⁄2cup marinara sauce
1⁄8cup fat-free or low-fat milk
1⁄8cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1⁄8cup basil leaves
- Preheat oven to 425 °F.
- Pour marinara sauce into the ramekin.
- Add milk, Gruyère and Parmesan.
- Crack two Eggland’s Best eggs on top.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until egg whites are cooked through.
- Serve immediately. (Optional: Garnish with basil.)
